Sunday mornings are becoming my regular engagement shoot day, so no lie ins for me. This week was the turn of Carla & Mickey who get married in October at Iscoyd Park in Shropshire. I’d first met them earlier in the year and knew they’d be great to work with. We chose the Bridgewater Canal  for their Worsley Hall engagement photography session, it’s just around the corner from The Court House.
We started out by having a stroll along the towpath before Mickey informed me that the canal is brown in colour because of iron ore seeping into the water from the nearby mines. After walking past The Granary we used the iron bridge for a couple of shots, then it was past Packet House and then finally using Alphabet Bridge as the last location. The bridge was used by children on their way to St Mark’s School and they are said to have used the 26 planks on the bridge to help them remember the letters of the alphabet! How’s that for a bit of knowledge Mickey?
Here’s a few from the shoot, Carla & Mickey’s Iscoyd Park wedding will be on the blog in a few weeks, looking forward to this one. If you’d like a Worsley Hall engagement photography session then please get in touch.
