Stockport Town Hall Wedding Photography – Lyndsey & James
How about a big slice of Stockport Town Hall, The Stanneylands Hotel and the 39 Steps restaurant all on one amazing wedding day. You might remember Lyndsey and James’ engagement a few weeks ago. If you don’t then have a look at their Stockport engagement photography shoot.
I have shot countless weddings at the town hall and this one is up there with the best of them. All of the venues chosen by Lyndesy & James were just perfect. I started my day in the enormous suite at Stanneylands Hotel with Lyndsey and the girls getting ready. No signs of any nerves and everyone was enjoying the banter and a prosecco or two. A beautiful Rolls Royce came to to pick Lyndsey up from the hotel and take her to Stockport Town Hall. I left in good time to make sure I didn’t miss her arriving. The wedding ceremony in The Committee Suite was beautiful, full and laughter and a few years.
Then it was time to say goodbye to the Town Hall and back into the Rolls for the short drive to Styal. The wedding reception was held at The Ship in Styal and they even brought a full drinks reception out into the village for the guests to enjoy. Group photos followed and then Lydsey & James took a wander around the thatched cottages and terraced houses in this amazing part of Cheshire. We really are blessed with some stunning locations in this part of the world.
Set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside
The sun came out in force for us throughout the afternoon and this one being a 4pm ceremony meant we could take full advantage of it. Thanks go to the Bridesmaids Jessica and Rose, also to Sarah and Julie for making things so easy for me. Also to James’ groomsmen, Matthew, the ever entertaining Max and Harry.
And of course the most thanks go to Lyndsey and James who are made for each other. Congratulations you two, this is your day.
Natural & un-posed wedding photography
My style of photography is to take photos completely naturally, without interfering in you and your guests day. Capturing real moments as they happen and turning them into a story, a piece of history for you to look back upon in years come.
