I was slack with my blogging last year. Time to put that right, so expect a flurry of weddings coming your way over the next few weeks, 2020 will see normal service resumed (fingers crossed). Starting now with this gorgeous Sale Town Hall Wedding. Yasaman & Matthew asked me to be their wedding photographer a long time ago. We didn’t actually meet until the wedding day itself as Yasaman lived in Edinburgh and Matthew in London.
White Taxi Wedding Car
It was a cold but bright day in November when the white taxi pulled up outside Sale Town Hall, inside were Yasaman, her mum, dad, brother and sister in Law. Her family had travelled over from Iran just for the wedding and they were feeling the cold so all stayed in the car until it was time to go in the town hall.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony
Inside the town hall, Matthew and his family were also waiting. This was a small intimate affair with just close family witnessing the wedding. After the vows, we all headed back downstairs and used the beautiful facade of Sale Town Hall as the backdrop for the group shots. Not too many of these though and as soon as they were done, the guests went into the bar for a drink. Yasaman, Matthew and myself took a short walk around the canal towpath for a few bride and groom photos. I followed them back to the bar where I finished with a few shots of everybody enjoying a drink.
A fantastic day with a beautiful couple, thank you for having me there.
