Pre Wedding Photography in Lyme Park, Cheshire

Pre Wedding Photography in Lyme Park, Cheshire

Rachael & Mark are due to be married at the gorgeous Chadkirk Chapel in Stockport. Last November we met up in Lyme Park for their Pre Wedding Photography session. I’d not met the couple until this photo shoot, so it was good to finally put faces to the names and have a chat  with them about their wedding day plans. As usual we met in the car park and then strolled up the hill to Lyme Hall. Mark had suggested we go to The Lantern, which is a small tower set high up in the park, surrounded by woodland. It’s quite a walk up there but well worth the effort as the views are stunning.

Natural, Modern & Fun Wedding Photography

Pre wedding photography used to get a bad rap for cheesy poses and awkwardness. Thankfully that’s not the case anymore and have always taken a much more modern take on things, a bit like my wedding photography, natural & fun.

Photographers Dream Backdrop

As we made our way down from The Lantern, we had to pass two very large Highland cows, part of Lyme’s Highland cattle breed. They are very docile creatures though and didn’t seem to mind us sharing their land. Once we were through the field, we joined the path and back to Lyme Hall. A lovely way to spend an hour even if it was drizzling for most of the time, but we got lots of fresh air and exercise. Really looking forward to photographing Rachael & Mark’s wedding.
