Family Photographer Cheshire – Autumn Stone Photography

When Sarah first contacted me, she mentioned there’d be a lot of her family coming along to this photo shoot. She wasn’t wrong either, 20 of them in total, but that didn’t matter as being a family photographer in Cheshire means I get to photograph in Dunham Massey.  I’m a bit of a regular visitor here and you could say I know the park pretty well, I also know how busy it gets with Cheshire folk taking a stroll or walking their dogs. It’s so big though it’s easy to find a quiet corner so no one gets in the way of our photo shoot.

Family Fun in the Park

Well there was no shortage of fun with this family, it’s a good job I’m fit as the kids certainly kept me on my toes with their antics. We managed a full circuit of the park, stopping off at the old slaughter house and deer house on the way. Using a few of the parks rustic features, such as the stiles and old brick walls really adds some character and texture to the photos.

Dunham Massey Photo Shoot

Dunham is managed by the National Trust which explains why it is always so busy, with it’s herd of deer it’s quite a visitor attraction. The mansion house is well worth a visit to find out more about this property and its history . The gardens always have plenty of attractions in the summer, such as an outdoor theatre and outdoor cinema as well as a spectacular Christmas light show.
