Family photo shoot Cheshire – Quarry Bank Mill

Family photo shoot Cheshire

Natalie phoned me up to arrange a photo shoot for her family. She is friends with Bonnie who I’d photographed earlier in the year at another Quarry Bank Mill photo shoot. After seeing the photos from that shoot, she wanted something similar for herself but with the beautiful Autumnal colours, so we set our date in November.

As usual we started off at Styal Village with the old workers cottages as our backdrop. Then we headed through the cornfields to join the path to the mill itself. It was very quiet and it felt like we had the place to ourselves, it was only later on we discovered that most of the estate was closed for the public on Mondays. That didn’t bother us though as the parkland and most of the paths were still open.

Little Evie was on top form and obligingly smiled for the whole of the shoot. Poor Rick though, ended up with something unmentionable on his boots and jeans, thanks to some inconsiderate dog owner. Then to cap it all he fell off a gate, he took it like a man though and soldiered on! Ending up back at the village we finished off with a few more photos of just Natalie & Rick as Evie took a well earned nap.

Why not treat you and your family to a Cheshire photo shoot?

Here’s a few examples from the day, all delivered in a gorgeous online gallery where you can download the images and share with friends and family. If you’d like your own Quarry Bank Mill Cheshire family photo shoot why not get in touch and we can arrange a date. Take a look at the family portrait page for more details and prices and hopefully I’ll see you in the new year.
