Whitley Hall Sheffield wedding photographer – Lorna & Glynn
This was my second visit to Yorkshire and Whitley Hall in six days. The last time was for Laura & Dan’s wedding. This time saw Lorna & Glynn tie the knot at this beautiful old venue. Every time I visit here, the venue, the couples and the guests all deliver the goods in bucketfuls. Lorna & Glynn’s wedding was no exception. We had the weather, the people oh and not forgetting the peacocks strutting around with their babies.
Yorkshire wedding ceremony at Whitley Hall
It wasn’t an early start for me on this one. Lorna didn’t want the bridal preparations recorded so I started photographing in the fantastically manicured gardens. Some of the guests, along with Glynn and his best man/brother Brynn were enjoying a well deserved pre wedding drink.
It wasn’t long after until Lorna emerged from her room along with her little flower girl granddaughter in tow. When Lorna entered the ceremony room, Glynn’s jaw almost hit the floor and he had to wipe away a little tear or two.
After the laughs and more tears during the ceremony, it was time again to take advantage of the afternoon sun. A few more drinks in the gardens before the group shots and then time for the bride and groom photos.
Good ole Yorkshire speeches and reception
The speeches brought a tear to many eyes, not least Glynn’s son who did very well to hold it together. After a few laughs and toasts, Lorna & Glynn cut the cake which started off the evening reception.
Knees up and party
Finally, it was almost my cue to go, but not before the first dance and a few party photos of the guests enjoying themselves on the dance floor.
So there you have it, another triumph at Whitley Hall and I really can’t wait to come back here again.
Lorna & Glynn, here it is all over again!
