Autumn Stone Photography
Modern, fun & colourful wedding photography
You might have seen Debbi & Tom’s engagement shoot on the blog recently. They’d asked me to be their Styal Lodge wedding photographer. Like most people I photograph, they said they weren’t very photogenic but I knew differently after their engagement shoot and we came up with a set of photos which were top drawer.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and it was wedding day time. This was a long day for me, Groom preps, Bridal preps, Norcliffe Chapel and then finally Styal Lodge.
Tom and his best man Ben were getting ready at their parents house in Urmston, Manchester. When he got his suit on, he looked like he’d stepped right out of a James Bond film.
Then it was off to Stretford to Debbi’s parent’s house, where she and the girls (and Dad) were busy getting ready. It was all very calm there until Debbi came down in her dress to meet her Dad, and then there wasn’t a dry eye in the house, apart from mine. I always find I take blurry photos when I’m crying, which is not good for a wedding photographer.
Next stop, Norcliffe Chapel in Styal Village, Cheshire. Gorgeous looking little church in the most picturesque area you could imagine. The minister there, unfortunately only allows wedding photographers to stand at the back of the church, but it didn’t matter, Debbi & Tom smashed it and here’s the proof.
Finally, Styal Lodge. What can you say about this place? A massive luxury log cabin on a golf course designed and built for just weddings. They even gave us a lift on a golf buggy to the lake for some more photos.
Music, dancing, fantastic food, even more fantastic people plus Debbi & Tom made this day so special.
Enough waffling, here’s the photos from a very happy Styal Lodge wedding photographer, enjoy.
