Rochdale Wedding Photographer – 50 Gorgeous Photos

 Rochdale Wedding Photographer

You might remember Kim & Chris chose me to be their Rochdale Wedding Photographer and I posted their engagement shoot a few weeks ago on a previous blog. I knew after that, they’d be a very easy couple to photograph.

They got married in St Paul’s Church, Norden just outside Rochdale. It’s a beautiful little village, full of stone houses and the 160 year old Church is picture postcard perfect with stunning views around the Lancashire countryside.

Any wedding photographers in Rochdale will know it can be pretty cold up there, so I started off braving the freezing cold winds and taking photos of the guests arriving and of Chris greeting them. Kim arrived in her wedding car, which was provided and driven by her brother. She looked stunning and accompanied by her Dad and best mate bridesmaid Helen, took the long walk up the path to the church.

The ceremony was fab, with everyone singing the hymns, all in tune as well! We managed the traditional confetti throwing afterwards and few photographs on the church steps before moving out of the wind and making our way to Rochdale Masonic Hall.

After the group shots, bride and groom portraits it was time for the meal and cake cutting. After this, I set up the wedding photo booth which went down a storm with both sets of families and friends.

Then it was time for the first dance but what Kim & Chris didn’t know was that about 30 guests, led by Helen had been having dance lessons for a surprise flash dance. Wow, I’ll remember Kim’s dad’s dancing for the rest of my life after that.

Kim & Chris, it was a pleasure being part of your day, thanks for having me and if you are looking for a wedding photographer in Rochdale then please get in touch or click the wedding prices page for more details.
