I met up with Jayne and Phil over the weekend for their engagement photography in Manchester. The shoot took place at Debdale Park in Manchester. The weather was quite nice for a change, bright and feeling mild. Engagement shoots allow us to get to know each other, break the ice and allow us to go through a few posing techniques so that you both look great on your wedding day photographs. The poses aren’t model like poses though, we’ll keep things very natural looking. You’ll be walking around, holding hands , talking to each other and laughing. I’ll press the shutter button at these times to catch you with natural looking smiles on your faces.
Debdale Park is only three miles from the centre of Manchester and is set in 130 acres, there are sports and leisure facilities including tennis courts, bowling greens, a basketball court, football pitches and 5 a side pitch, a skateboarding ramp, a 9 hole pitch and putt golf course and a play area. The reservoirs allow fishing and boating and there’s a water sports and outdoor activity centre here too.
Jayne and Phil’s wedding is less than four weeks away and will be held at St Agnes’s Church in Reddish, Stockport. The after the group shots are done at the church we going to wander down to Vernon Park in Stockport for the bride and groom portraits and finally off to the reception at Huffy’s on Underbank in the town centre, which used to be the Three Shires pub. Here’s a few from the day, hope you like them and if you’d like an engagement photography in Manchester session then get in touch for details or click the engagements photography page for more information.
