Sandra & Bob are back off their honeymoon so following on from last weeks sneak peek here’s the full blog.
I was chosen as their Stanneylands Hotel wedding photographer but this was only a short one for me, from the guests arriving to the group shots. I started off in the bar, like you do, where all the guests started to mingle before being shown into the Alderley Suite where the ceremony was due to take place. After a few shots outside of Bob and his son who was also his best man, it was time to wait for Sandra to make her appearance. and blimey she did make us wait but that is a Bride’s prerogative so they say! It was worth the wait though and the ceremony was fantastic with lots of laughter and a few tears.
After the ceremony it was then time to head outside as the sun was shining, the group shots were first and then it was time to have a wander around for the Bride & Groom photos. Stanneylands Hotel is a lovely hotel, the grounds aren’t huge but there is a very nice pond tucked away behind the trees and greenery. Unfortunately we didn’t want to risk walking down the slippy steps to that area so we stayed around the driveway and used the lovely colours of the trees and foliage as our backdrop.
I don’t think Sandra or Bob were looking forward to having their photos taken but look fantastic and we came up with some real killer shots. Good luck Sandra & Bob and thanks for inviting me.
