Robinsons Brewery Wedding Photography Stockport
It’s the middle of the heatwave, everyday we are getting blue skies, sun and temperatures into the mid 20’s. Stockport is well and truly basking in this Mediterranean style weather and I’m providing the Robinsons Brewery Wedding Photography for a very private couple and due to a privacy contract I can’t show you a lot from this wedding only a few venue photos. Anyway, back to the weather and i couldn’t believe it, after days and days of sun this wedding took place on the only rainy day forecast. We were lucky though, it didn’t rain too much and I am always prepared and bring white umbrellas with me.
Robinsons is as much part of Stockport as the viaduct is, Founded in 1838, the brewery is on the site of the Unicorn pub on Lower Hillgate, hence the name Unicorn Brewery but it is now more commonly known as Robinsons.
Shire horses in the stables
Our bride here loves horses and was thrilled to hear that one of shire horses would be in residence in the stables just over the road. The staff are fantastic here and took us over to see this magnificent horse and it would have been rude not to get a few photos of him.
Old Tom for the reception
The Old Tom room is a lovely intimate room for a smaller wedding. Our wedding only had 20 people so this room was ideal. There is another room available though so check with Robbies to find out more.
We end with the brewery tour
All the wedding guests were invited onto their own brewery tour but only the bride, groom and myself went along. We finished up here to get very unique shots with the old brewery making equipment. The huge old copper mash tuns made for a fantastic backdrop for the wedding photos.
Onto the photos, it’s a shame I can’t show you more but unfortunately that’s just the way it is but I hope the photos below may inspire you to maybe think about having your big day here, if so then I’d love to provide a little more Robinsons Brewery Wedding Photography. It certainly makes very unique and quirky venue in Stockport’s old town area. Why not get in touch today?
