Portrait Photographer in Cheshire – Bramhall Park Lifestyle Shoot
Amy and Kate had been waiting a long time for this photo shoot and finally settled on Bramhall Park in Stockport as their location. Being a portrait photographer in Cheshire, I am spoiled with the amount of fantastic locations for these shoots. From the stunning National Trust venues such as Lyme Park and Quarry Bank Mill to the rugged landscapes of the Peak District just a short drive away. Local parks like Bramhall though can be just as good as this photo shoot shows. It has everything here, from a river running through the middle of the park to woodland and of course the stunning black and while Tudor house, not mention acres of parkland to discover.

Photographing in this part of the world means you have to be ready for whatever the weather throws at you. Today it was rain, some drizzle, heavy rain and then a bit of sun. Umbrellas were at the ready for Amy, Kate and her family and I had my trusty camera cover with me. We decided not to venture into the woods as the ground was quite wet and soggy by this time, so we kept to the paths and followed the river around the park.
Abbey Road comes to Stockport
Amy and Kate had both got married on the same day together in Italy and one of their favourite photos was a set up of the famous Beatles photograph from the album, Abbey Road. You know the one, where they are crossing over the zebra crossing. No zebras in Bramhall Park at this time of year but we did recreate the photo as best we could using the long set of wooden steps back up to the hall from the duck pond. Finally, we finished off with a few games for the children in the play area before saying our goodbyes.
Here are a few photos from the day. If you’d like something similar with your family in Cheshire or Manchester, then check out the prices and details on the family photography page.
