I photographed my very first wedding at the Pinewood on Wilmslow a few years ago, then it was just called The Pinewood. Now they’ve had a fancy makeover and extension and it looks better than ever. Last weekend Angela & Steve chose me to be their Pinewood on Wilmslow wedding photographer and what a cracking day it turned out to be.
The day started at Norbury Parish Church in Hazel Grove, I arrived an hour early and the whole place was locked up, but luckily the Verger came along to open the church, I grabbed a few shots inside and then started taking photos of the guests arriving.
Steve and the Bridesmaids came along next and then Angela made her grand entrance in the fantastic classic looking wedding car. Angela & Steve had arranged for the choir and bell ringers to be there.
The weather wasn’t looking too great before the ceremony but just as we came out of the church and into the grounds the sun made its appearance. After the short drive to The Pinewood on Wilmslow Hotel the guests all made the most of the sun and sat outside on the terrace while the kids played on the lawns.
After the group shots and Bride & Groom portraits, it was time for me to say goodbye but what a privilege to be part of such a beautiful day. Thanks for having me Angela & Steve and good luck for the future.
