The Old Grammar School Wedding Photography | Natalie & Martin
This incredible Manchester wedding venue is one of the most unique venues I have photographed at. Wedding photography at The Old Grammar School Middleton is an absolute pleasure. Very different to most venues with it’s old stone flagged floor and roaring log fire, set in an urban environment by a picturesque brook. It has so many interesting corners and things to feature as a backdrop to the photos.
Quirky Wedding Venue in Manchester
Natalie & Martin had their reception at The Old Grammar School, but the ceremony itself took place at St Anne’s in Ancoats, Manchester. The ceremony was conducted by father Eamonn, who was as photography friendly as anyone could get. The ceremony was beautiful, with only 21 guests plus the bride and groom. After the service, there were nibbles and a few drinks for the guests, but I set off to The Old Grammar School though so I could get some shots of the table settings and cake before anyone else arrived.
Party time at The Old Grammar School Middleton
After the ceremony it was time for the celebrations at The Old Grammar School Middleton. Natalie and Martin arrived in a rather swish Mercedes. The wedding breakfast was gorgeous and I should know as I was invited to sit down for a full three course meal, absolutely gorgeous. Then it was time for the speeches, obligatory cake cutting and of course the first dance. The Old Grammar School has a lovely balcony area which allowed me to get some fantastic shots from above.
Again, another April wedding with amazing weather, amazing guests and a fantastic bride and groom. Natalie & Martin, thank you so much for having me there, it was a real treat. This, then, is your day.
