Northern Quarter Pre Wedding Photography Manchester – Megan & Cameron
Megan & Cameron will get married next year at The Plaza in Stockport. It’s one of the quirkiest venues in the North West, they actually get married on the stage with all of their guests watching from the theatre seats. You can see what it looks like from the last time I photographed Lisa & Joe’s wedding there last year.
Why Manchester Norther Quarter?
Megan & Cameron live only a few minutes walk from the Northern Quarter so it made perfect sense to photograph their pre wedding photography session here. The Northern Quarter is one of the trendiest areas in Manchester right now. It hasn’t always been like that though and up until the 90’s it was a run down part of Manchester, a relic of it’s industrial past. After some major regeneration this little part of Manchester is now home to some of the areas best bars, restaurants, music and clothes shops. Talking of music, if you like your tunes on vinyl there are more than a handful of shops offering good old fashioned 7″ and 12″ discs.
Manchester Pre Wedding Shoot
I met Megan and Cameron on a very sunny Saturday Autumnal morning at Stevenson Square, right in the centre of the Northern Quarter. This part is awash with artwork adorning the walls of the former public toilets and surrounding areas. Keep your eye out in the photos below for more public art. As we walked around every corner, there just seemed to be more things and places to be photographed. I can’t wait to photograph Megan & Cameron’s wedding, but you are going to have to a little while for that yet. In the meantime, here’s what we came up with.
