Leicester Warren Hall wedding photographer | Cheshire wedding photographer
What a day! This was my first time photographing a wedding at Leicester Warren Hall. First of all it’s not in Leicester, in fact it’s in the heart of Knutsford, Cheshire. It’s very easy to miss as it is tucked well out of sight and accessed off Toft Road in the town centre. It’s a working Mason’s lodge and is named after one of it’s founding members Leicester Warren. Anyway enough of the history talk and back to Jenna & Andrew’s wedding day.
I’d first met Jenna & Andrew about a month before their wedding at Walkden Gardens in Manchester for their pre wedding photo shoot. I knew this was going to be a special one and they didn’t disappoint. No bridal preparations here though so my day started with Jenna arriving in the ‘wedding car’, her dad’s bright orange VW Camper.
After meeting the registrars, it was then straight into the ceremony room for Jenna and her bridesmaids. For those who don’t know the ceremony room here, it’s a candlelit, windowless room with four ceiling lights. I’m not one to blow my own trumpet, but you need to know what you’re doing to get the shots here.
Jenna & Andrew were able to take the weight off their feet in the huge wooden thrones, while the readings and other formalities took place. After the ceremony, we all headed outside to enjoy the sun. This was summer 2018 and who can forget the sun? Jenna, Andrew, myself and a few others went for a little walk around the country lanes for a few photos while the guests enjoyed the lawn games on offer.
After the wedding breakfast and speeches, it was party time. The first dance went down a storm. Big thanks to Mark at Whaley’s Limited for providing his cocktail and bar skills . Hopefully I’ll be back at Leicester Warren Hall very soon even though big changes come next month when they are taken over by another of my favourite Cheshire wedding venues, Belle Epoque in King Street, Knustford.
Jenna & Andrew. Thank you so much for having me there with you. This is your day.
