Dunham Massey Lifestyle Photography – Cheshire family shoot
Another family shoot at Dunham Massey in Cheshire now. Juni’s parents had flown over from Hong Kong to visit their family and while they were here Juni thought it would be a good idea to have a family photo shoot to mark the occasion.
Dunham Massey is still one of my favourite National Trust sites, it’s also one of Cheshire’s favourites too judging by the amount of people who come here whether it’s raining or the sun is shining. It doesn’t matter though as the parkland is so vast, it’s easy to find a few quiet spots within the 300 acres available.
As usual we met up outside the mansion house and then took one of three main paths which spread out around the parkland. The little tricycle made a great prop as we walked around to the deer house, which is an old brick built shelter for the deer to take shelter from the weather. After merging with the central path we then headed through to one of the many rugged looking scrublands for a few more photos.
We ended up back at the mansion house and former stables where we used the old stone mounting steps for our backdrop. They must be around 200 years old and are still standing the test of the time. With two little tired eyes by this time our hour was up and it was time to say our goodbyes. I’ll leave you with a few photos from the day.
