Cheshire Family Photography
Last weekend I took a drive out for another Cheshire family photography session in Lyme Park. I have been a regular at Lyme for the last few weeks. It’s just the perfect place for a lifestyle photo session. Rolling hills, majestic buildings and plenty for the children to do.
This shoot is of Rob and his wife Sally and their three children, also along for the ride, were their good friends Colin & Amy with their two girls. Rob is an accomplished artist and you can see more of his work on his art website. We started with a good treck up the hill from the car park to The Cage, which was originally a hunting lodge and then later used as a lock-up for prisoners. It’s one of the highest points in Lyme and although we had dry weather, wow, was it windy up there. I had trouble standing still let alone holding my camera steady, but I think I did pretty well as you can see from the shots below.
Next we took the path below The Cage back to the house, which is the largest house in Cheshire, The courtyard offered some protection from the wind and has some lovely architecture which we used for the more formal photos.
After the walk back down the hill, we went to the house. You can tell these two families love the outdoors, there was no stopping them and the children must have had extra Weetabix in the morning! We ended up at the lake for our last few photos and then it was time for me to head home and start editing the shots.
Here’s what we came up with, if you like my style of photography and would like a Cheshire family photography session of your own, then just let me know and we can set a date.
