Cheshire family photographer at Quarry Bank Mill
Quarry Bank Mill feels like my second home at the moment, I have done so many Cheshire family photography shoots here recently that I have lost count. This one featured a family from Texas. Julie contacted me earlier in the year to ask about my availability. As usual I pencilled in a date and then waited until nearer the time to check the weather details and make firm plans. The weather wasn’t going to stop us on this one though as Julie and her family were only here for a few days before flying back to the US.
The fog on the Cheshire plains
It’s usually the rain that can make us change our plans but not with this one. As I was driving over to Quarry Bank Mill, the fog started to descend. Now I’m a big fan of fog and photography, it gives the photos a real atmospheric feel and luckily the fog stayed with us for most of this family photo shoot.
History all around at Styal
As we walked around Styal Village, this American family were amazed at the history surrounding the place. The workers’ cottages make a fantastic backdrop for the photos. The walk over the cornfield is one of my favourite spots here and the fog in the background just made it even more special.
After a walk around the mill and cobbled paths, we took in the views from the other end of Styal. We then made our way back to the village. The fog had started to lift by then and the walk over the cornfield looked completely different with the sun starting to shine through.
So there you have it, another happy customer with some fantastic photos to record their day out in this little part of Cheshire. Here are a few of the snaps, I hope you like.
