Cherry Orchard Lake Wedding Photographer – Liz & Jonny

Cherry Orchard Lake Wedding Photographer

This was my second outing here as a Cherry Orchard Lake Wedding Photographer, I’d photographed Kelly & Richard’s wedding here back in 2017, you can see that wedding by clicking Cherry Orchard Lake Wedding. My day started at Liz’s house in Altrincham for the bridal preps. All the girls were in attendance and on top form as they had their hair and make up done as well as the odd prosecco or two. Huge thank you’s go to all of Liz’s bridesmaids and parents for welcoming me into their home.

A Summer Wedding in Altrincham

We were set for some wonderful weather, pretty much perfect for any wedding. Even though it was August you just can never predict the weather in this part of the world. After I left the house I took the short drive to St George’s church. This is a beautiful old building but unfortunately the Vicar doesn’t allow his wedding ceremonies to be photographed so I sat at the back and watched Liz & Jonny tie the knot instead.

Cherry Orchard Lake – A Real Cheshire Wedding Venue

After the formal proceedings it was time to travel into the heart of Cheshire and Delemere Event’s magnificent Cherry Orchard Lake. By the time we arrived the sky had clouded over somewhat and there was a drop of rain or two in the air. This wasn’t going to stop Liz, Jonny and all of their friends and family though as they carried on enjoying the views over the lake and the games on offer. Liz & Jonny joined me for a walk around the lake while I snapped away, this provided a little bit of privacy away from the action and chance to be by themselves for a little while.

Pie & Mash For The Wedding Breakfast

The wedding breakfast was dished up by the amazing Pie Eyed, all from the back of their converted horse box. Home made pie, mash and mushy peas for everybody. I can highly recommend the scotch eggs and sausage rolls too!

A Countryside Walk, Garden Games & A Little Music

Cake cutting time was a sight to behold. Two of the guests had made the cakes, meaning there was plenty to go around, I should know I tried them all. It was a little bit like the Great British vote off without the voting off. I couldn’t possibly choose a favourite though.

After the speeches, it was party time in the tepees and games outside. Liz & Jonny’s first dance started the ball rolling and then everybody joined them to round the evening off. Thank you both, so so much. You made the day everything you wanted, and it was a real honour to be there with you.
