I took a break from Manchester and wedding photography over the weekend and drove over to Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. The Chatsworth estate is owned by The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and has been passed down through 16 generations. Although set in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside it is only just over an hours drive from Manchester making it an ideal venue to get married if you live around Manchester, Stockport or even Cheshire. The parkland is stunning and parts of the garden are made exclusively available for wedding photography. The civil ceremony itself takes place in the Hartington Room located in the majestic Stables courtyard.
For those that would prefer a church wedding, St Peter’s church could be the choice for you and is located on the Chatsworth Estate. The church is in the stunning village of Edensor which again has some breathtaking locations for wedding photography.
Keep checking the blog as I’ve got some great shoots coming up, starting with Abbie and Stacey’s engagement shoot at Feltcher Moss in Manchester, then the week after it’s the turn of Zoe and Dan and the week after that it’s Karen and Brian’s wedding at the Bolholt Hotel in Greater Manchester and during the summer there are none stop weddings around Manchester, Stockport and Cheshire.
