This was my first time photographing an Adlington Hall wedding. Alice & Rob had been let down by their photographer at the last minute and asked me to step in. They couldn’t have chosen a more stunning setting than Adlington Hall in Cheshire. The hall itself is jaw dropping and it really is the most beautiful place to get married.

Ceremony at St Ann’s church in Cheadle, Cheshire

Alice & Rob didn’t have their wedding ceremony at Adlington Hall but at St Ann’s church in Cheadle. I have fond memories of this place as I photographed my very first wedding here 6 years ago. It hasn’t changed much and the same Priest is still there.

Before the ceremony, I started photograhing Rob, his family and his friends at the Church Inn just down the road from the church. Again, 6 years ago I did exactly the same, deja vous!

Stunning Cheshire wedding venue

After the ceremony, we all took the short drive to Adlington. Alice & Rob arrived in style in a magnificent MkII Jaguar provided by Chris of Classic Wedding Cars Cheshire. As an Adlington Hall wedding photographer there are a huge amount of photographic opportunities at this place, such as the great hall, the perfectly manicured gardens and the wedding breakfast and dancing which took place in the Hunting Lodge. It really is one of the best places to photograph a Cheshire wedding.

After the drinks reception in the great hall and courtyard, we took advantage of the grounds for the group photos. The beautiful Adlington Hall arch of flowers took centre stage and made the perfect backdrop. After the guests left for the Hunting Lodge, Alice, Rob and myself, plus a couple of very helpful bridesmaids took a walk around to the front of the hall for more photos.
