Wedding Photo Booth

The wedding photo booth is a still proving to be a popular choice when people book me to be their wedding photographer. The booth is set up in between the wedding breakfast and the first dance, wedding guests use the props such as inflatable guitars, microphones, moustaches, hats and silly glasses etc. There’s also a clapper board blackboard where the guests can write the bride and groom a message. If you want to bring along your own props, you are more than welcome. Themed backdrops can also be arranged.

My photo booth is different to the passport style booth that can be hired for the wedding. I have a studio type set up with large red backdrop and studio lights providing the lighting. The beauty of this set up is that it can fit around 12-14 wedding guests in shot, try squeezing that many in the passport style booth!

Here’s how it all works. It takes me around 30 minutes to set up the backdrop and the lights. The prop box is left at the side for the wedding guests to choose what they’d like to use. I go around to all of the tables and get the guests to join in. Once the first guests have done their bit the flood gates usually open and a big queue forms. Whether your guests are young or old, they will love taking part. It’s especially good for the evening guests who haven’t been involved in the official wedding photographs earlier in the day and means they can be a part of your day.

If you’d like to know more about the wedding photo booth then take a look at the photo booth gallery.┬áIf you still planning your wedding in and around Manchester, then I still have a few dates left for this year. Next year is already starting to fill up as well.
