Stockport Wedding Photography – Town Hall

Last weekend I had a nice local wedding to photograph. I drove all of the 3 minutes up to the Town Hall just near the centre of Stockport for Christine & Bernard’s wedding. I’ve be looking forward to telling the story of this one for a while. Christine & Bernard first met when they were teenagers but lost touch and went their separate ways until fate had it’s way and they met up again and decided to get married.

If you are wondering where all of the guests are, then there were none, well apart from the two witnesses Paul & Maggie and Bernard’s daughter Charlotte.

Bernard had bought a ribbon kit for his car and they both drove to the Town Hall together. After meeting them all outside for a few photos, we headed inside for the 11.20am ceremony. Then it was time for the short drive to Vernon Park & Woodbank Park where regular blog readers  will know I’m a regular for the engagement shoots I offer, although I’m never usually attacked by angry little ankle biters. Finally it was time to go to the third location just around the corner at Woodbank Young People’s Centre. This is the place where Christine & Bernard had their first kiss when they were still at school.
