Haworth 1940’s Weekend 2013

This weekend I took a break from wedding photography and took a trip to the Haworth 1940’s weekend 2013. It wasn’t as busy as the last two years I’ve been, probably down to the poor weather in the morning, but it stayed dry in the afternoon and the evening, giving plenty of opportunities for photography.
There was a lot to see including jive dancing, The Bradford Marching Pipe Band Parade, a real RAF Spitfire (not working unfortunately), lots of classic cars and US army Jeeps. They always promise a Spitfire fly past but I don’t think that’s ever happened. It amazes me how much effort people put into their costumes and uniforms, one ‘soldier’ I spoke to had even travelled up from Watford to attend.

Anyway, here are a few photographs from the day, hope you like them.
