Feels like ages since I wrote my last blog but it’s less than 2 weeks. It’s been a busy time here with lots of weddings and pre wedding photo shoots. To catch up though, here is a preview of Clare and Karl’s wedding at Buile Hill Park in Salford. The day started at St Kentigern’s church in Fallowfield, Manchester, where all 150 guests had managed to get a seat. Tradition has it that the bride is always late but Karl decided he’d take up that tradition, well late is bit unfair, lets just say he was cutting it fine. The ceremony was very touching with karl’s dad even playing a trumpet recital. After organising the huge 150 people group shot at St Kentigerns, which I managed by lofting my camera high overhead using a monopod, it was off to Buile Hill Park in Salford for the reception.

It was a gorgeous day weather wise and we made most of that weather by using the parks fantastic features for the photos. After the group shots, bride and groom portraits,  speeches and cake cutting, Karl surprised everyone and changed into his kilt and he and Clare both strutted their stuff on the dance floor for the first dance.
